Wix Overall
I chose wix as my CMS because I tried wix to create my website. There are many changes compared with before. Below are my personal comments and experiences in designing my web pages. A CMS is a good start for web designers, especially for
novices like me, because it can provide you with multiple templates to match my projects. And I can save a lot of time writing code and CSS by just dragging and adding content. However, Wix also has a number of limitations, such as the
ability to interact within the store and not to use external CSS and javascript. At the same time, the data storage is limited to the internal database of the platform, not my own PHP. In terms of looks, wix does have a great template
design, but when I publish it, there will be an AD for wix on the site page (I use the free version). In general, Wix can meet the needs of the average web site, but if you want a high degree of personalization, you still need your own
design.
Template
Template 1
I like the line design for margin and enough white space, giving a simple theme. The nav bar give the feedback to show where you are.
Template 2
The second template is also about the art blog. In this web I like the background image that use attachment and fixed position to create a translational effect as you scroll the pages. Also, the blue and yellow color with brush style gives
me a sense of art. The image with hover effect is great point.
Template 3
The last template is a very unique template for me. The timeline style nav combined with the fade in effect make it very band new amount all templates.
CSS
I choose the parallax effect at the home page as the challange to try manually.
Manul
At first I have to look up the guide of how to create a parallax effect from google. Then I found that without the script, it was hard to have a good effect. So I give up and just use image-attachment to create teh page. I spent almost 1 hour
figuring out the background image and the structure with text. I felt so bad!

CMS
It's very easy. I just spend 20mins choosing the pic, picking the effect of the image and move the position. Relaxed!
