Introduction

Artificial Intelligence, also called AI, is the simulation of human intelligence processes by machines, normally refer to the computer system. In fact, this idea can be dated back to hundreds of years ago when people came out with the idea of functional and mythical automation with artificial intelligence. Nowadays, by using an advanced supercomputer, humans now are trying to make this idea come out. Actually, there are now 3 types of AI concepts and some of them are now involved in our daily life from Siri apps to AlphaGO. However, most people do not know what are there. This page is to help you know the definition of AI.(Rouse,2018)

Definition

Now commonly there are 3 types of AI concept

• Artificial Narrow Intelligence(ANI)

  This is the basic concept of AI. It can deal with singal task by giving effective and efficient command. Voice Assistants are the good example. When your say "Hey Siri, what's the weather like today?" The Siri will give you a response by its database and cloud process tech. Just liek a simple logic map in math. This is mostly what we use often.(Panchal, 2018)

• Artificial General Intelligence(AGI)

  This is an evolution of basic AI in the letter. Different from ANI, AGI can learn by itself and improve the efficiency in multiple and　complex tasks. The typical example is the AlphaGO which can function like a human's brain even more intelligent to deal with kinds of tasks. The Chess game is a result of the superpower of AGI. Moreover, now Apple, Microsoft, and Google also want to develop this tech in their voice assistants application to improve the qualities with big data and cloud computing tech. However, the restriction is that it still depends on powerful hardcore supports and advanced computer technology. Without it, everything is nothing.(Panchal, 2018)

• Artificial Super Intelligence(ASI)

  This type of AIs often come out in the science fiction novels or movie where they control the whole world and make great destruction. ASI is considered as a super-human intelligence and fear by humans. Luckily, now we don't find this kind of AI.
